About

Pladur® has supplied a total of 80,000 m² of material in the construction of Torre Bolueta in Bilbao, a total of 192 homes spread over 28 floors of 88 meters that make it the highest Passivhaus building in the world.

The objective of this type of construction under the Passivhaus standard, increasingly higher, is to become buildings with almost zero energy consumption. To achieve this status, measures are taken such as the improvement of insulation, the elimination of thermal bridges, air tightness and mechanical ventilation controlled by double flow. A trend that is proliferating more and more.
